COURT SACKS GREGORY IBE AS APGA GUBER CANDIDATE AS ABIANS GO FOR NATIONAL RESCUE MOVEMENT (NRM) 

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday nullified the Abia State governorship primary election of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA which produced Gregory Ibe as the winner.



The court presided over by Justice Binta Nyako in it's ruling had also ordered the conduct of a fresh primary election in 14 days. 

One of the contestants of the primary election and a chieftain of the party, Sir Chikwe Udensi who was not satisfied with the declaration of Gregory Ibe as the winner had approached the court, urging the it to declare him winner of the primary election.
Meanwhile, Abians across the globe have hailed the development plans of Chief Kalu Ijomah Ukeh, the Governorship Candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM). A cross section of Abians at home, abroad, groups have identified National Rescue Movement (NRM) as the only strong party in the state. Speaking from California, Chief Innocent Nwachukwu in a chat with TBE Magazine correspondent, recommended NRM for all Abia residents. " I have closely monitored all the candidates and I have come to the conclusion that only Kalu Ijomah has what it takes and is willing to deliver Abia state from the mess PDP has put us. I therefore without fear or favour recommend NRM to all Abia residents".

Kalu Ijomah had recently in Umuahia made open his developmental plans for Abia state in 2023 if he becomes the governor of the state.  Kalu who is the only Candidate from Ohafia, Abia North, the zone which is believed to produce the next governor 
according to the zoning formula which began in 1999 in the state, with Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia North), T. A Orji (2007, Abia Central) and Okezie Ikpeazu 2015 - 2023 ( Abia South). Having gone round, stakeholders have maintained that Ohafia is to produce the next governor of Abia state.
In a live broadcast, Kalu had mentioned some of his developmental plans which include  partnering with Japan, Israel and other countries in agriculture,  science and technology, amongst others.
