ONYENDU GEORGE IHEONU SUES FOR PEACE AHEAD OF 2023 ELECTION


As 2023 general election draws near, Onyendu George Iheonu has advocated for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.


George who is the Secretary General of Association of Ndi-Ndu Ndigbo in Diaspora and Onyendu Ndigbo in Ayidere, Osun state said this in his residence on Thursday, November 10, 2022 while hosting Non Indigenes in the state.  Onyendu Iheonu advised Nigerians to live peacefully with one another especially during this electioneering period. 

He also advised politicians to advise their supporters to shun violence as they carry out their campaigns across the country. He noted that politics should not be a do or die affaire.

George Iheonu advised the electorates to remember that election will come and go but the people will  remain. He appreciated the host community for the cordial relationship  between Yoruba and non indigenes in Osun state.

Association of Non Indigenes in the state were in his residence for an end of year meeting.
