WILL PAY ARREARS OF ABIA WORKERS AND PENSIONERS - IJOMAH PROMISES ABIANS
The National Rescue Movement (NRM) Governorship Candidate in Abia  State, Kalu Ijomah Ukeh has said that his administration if he becomes the governor of Abia state in 2023 will give teachers, civil servants and pensioners in the state the best instead of abandonment.

Kalu who played host to some women groups who visited him in his home town,  Akanu Ohafia over the weekend noted that Abia civil servants and retirees are suffering in the state  and wondered why they should be neglected. He said that the abandonment of teachers and civil servants normally results to lack of productivity.

It could be noted that some civil servants in Abia state are being owed more than three years salaries, while most retirees and pensioners have not received their gratuities and pensions for many years. This development has resulted to the untimely deaths of many of these senior citizens of Abia.

Kalu Ijomah who was full of appreciation to the women groups promised to run an inclusive government where women will play vital roles in the development of the state. He  noted that teachers who made him what he is today cannot be abandoned in his administration. He promised to pay off all salaries and arrears owed to all civil servants in the state.
Speaking unbehalf of all the groups, Mrs Joy Victor Iheasimuo said that Kalu Ijomah Ukeh is the best among all the Governorship Candidates contesting for Abia number one seat. She noted that all the women of Abia have decided to vote for Kalu Ijomah in 2023 election in the state.
